Pound Cake

Preheat 350 degrees or 180 degrees Celsius. Fan mode 

Ingredients:

Dry ingredients:

1 and quarter cup – cake flour or all purpose flour

150gms or 1 cup- brown sugar or granulated sugar

1 TSP – baking powder

Salt- a pinch

Mix it all together with a spatula.

Wet ingredients:

Butter-170 gms

Eggs- 150gms 3 large ones

Milk-   3tbsps

Vanilla essence-11/2 TSP or almond extract

Add the wet ingredients in medium speed in hand mixer.Mix till you obtain honey color.

Fill the ingredients to the baking tin that is buttered.

Wrap the cake top with Aluminium foil after buttering.

Keep it in oven for 50-55 mins.

Flip the pound cake sideways in-between the baking time for even baking.

Check at 50mins as it varies for each oven.
